When we were introduced to Christina we knew we had a real winner in her who could carry our black program to the next level. Bred to Amstel, she produced Irene's Dream who took seconds to her half sister in show after show. Irene has produced Wasake who continued and improved the show string. Christina has definitely gained the ranks of Impact Female. She also produced Ohanzee, a Dark Shaddow son with a presence and character to stand out among the herd with a regal stature.

Georgia Meyer of Silver Creek Alpaca sorted and graded Christina's 2011 fleece (age 11). Her suggestion to improve the fleece would be to breed to a non-hairy male. Christina carried too many primaries (12-15 / pull) and was classed a Dark Rose Grey. She received 4 of 10 for brightness, 4 of 10 for uniformity of crimp, less than 1 for crimp, amplitude was low, and density was 5 of 10. Not bad for a working 11 year old gal producing show quality, improved cria.

Christina delivered her last cria in 2014 and will remain as herd matriarch and auntie for the cria. Her disposition is important to train the young.
