Tatanka's pedigree starts with our interest in Silver Spoon Emily, Caligula and then goes on to read as a who's who in the United States: Camilio, Hemingway, Acero Marka's Mr Knowit All, Bueno, and Casanova to highlight a few. Tatanka gross sheared 5.4 pounds of fleece with over half blanket for his first shearing (11 months growth). The brightness and character are exceptional.

Turns out he is number 1 for the EPD of Standard Deviation Mean Curvature [SDMC] .
This trait [SDMC] assesses the uniformity of curvature within the fleece sample. Curvature (and crimp) is variable in alpaca fiber.

2020 shearing we just removed 10 pounds of fiber while he continues holding a soft hand with very nice uniformity.
