MAMGB Huyaku Ska (Hoo-Yah-Koo Ska)"White Stocking"

ARI# 31536981   D.O.B. 6/19/2009

Huacaya, Female, Proven | True Black

Sire: Grand River Amstel  | ARI# 849320  | True Black
Dam: Twizzler D118 ALOA | ARI# 137642  | Dark Brown |
Service Sire:

Huyaku Ska (means White Stocking in Lakota) possesses reflective true black that did not tip or fade. Due to her white tuxedo face and feet Huyaku is classified multi since the 2012 show revisions. Her fleece is consistent and the fineness is evident in the exquisite handle.

Huyaku was bred to Mondavi September 22, 2011. We anticipate seeing her deliver August 22, 2012. With her pedigree and fiber stats, Mondavi's prepotency as seen in Raven Night, Matahota, Iohitica, Iyota Sapa, Ozela, and Heyun Sapa this should be an outstanding black or gray.

It turned out to be an exceptional black girl we named Cheskikhan, however, mischief from a neighbor caused this little one a sudden death. I promised Huyaku we would breed her again to Mondavi but missed in 2013 due to distractions arranging other breedings. She is scheduled to breed to Mondavi July 1, 2014 to lead our 2015 line of cria.

She bred 7/12/2014 and has successfully spit off since. Start checking in June 12, 2015 for results. We will be! She passed and we are now targeting 2016. Sadly we lost Patagonia's Mondavi before we could follow through on this promise. We have MAMGB Hanblecheyapi or MAMGB Iglaspa who are Mondavi offspring.

She is BVD tested negative, AVID chipped, and ARI registered.

Awards

Spring Bling 2010
Judge stated, "Correct conformationally and preferred her fleece to the one in first place being denser and finer, but her stature is what placed her in second." She was the youngest in the class.
Great Midwest 2010
Sharon Loner stated, "She has superior fineness to the alpacas placing ahead of her with exceptional staple length. While being conformationally correct, she is a bit smaller than I would like to see." She was the youngest in the class.
AOBA National - Denver 2011 Huyaku placed sixth with brite fleece, good length, and fine handle.
